Idruna has announced version 6 of Pocket Phojo, its Windows Mobile software for real time digital photography transmission. Temecula, CA, June 10th 2009 - Idruna is pleased to announce version 6 of its unique Windows Mobile software for real time digital photography transmission. Currently in use by newspapers, news agencies, military, and police forces around the world, Pocket Phojo can have a photo transmitted from anywhere in the world to where it is needed within moments of it being taken. Pocket Phojo in conjunction with the Eye-Fi Pro card provides the most cost effective wireless solution for acquiring high quality photos, associating data with each photo, then securely transmitting the photos directly to where they are needed via 3G.

The 2 slot cameras have a lot of flexibility in that you can shoot RAW to the CF slot, and JPEG to the SD slot with the Eye-Fi card, or mirror photos to both slots. If the Eye-Fi card does not meet your needs, Pocket Phojo also supports the Canon and Nikon WiFi transmitters, or running on a device like the iPAQ 214, it can plug directly into the camera via USB. This works similarly to the Nikon transmitter, except you can also transmit via 3G, apply actions, associate barcode data etc.
