International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) is reminding interested photographers that the deadline for this year’s competition is fast approaching. You have until the end of this month (that is, Wednesday, 30th November) to submit your best photographs that fit into one of the following categories: The Beauty of Plants, Beautiful Gardens, Wildlife Havens, Breathing Spaces, Bountiful Earth, Fragile Landscapes and Greening the City. The top prize is £5000 and category winners will also be awarded cash prizes. Full details of how to enter the competition can be found online at the website below.

All winning images will be shown at a renowned exhibition at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, from 3rd March 2012. The exhibition will then tour to other venues in the UK and abroad.
