Tonight at 7pm GMT, Scottish landscape photographer Colin Prior will present images from his new book, High Light, in the Apple Store at 1-7 The Piazza, London. Spending the last five years in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Prior has captured the transient nature of the landscape, often camping on mountain summits to shoot at dusk and dawn. In this book, he explores the detail in up-close shots of nature to reveal order amongst chaos.  Colin will also be answering questions from the audience. Entry is free.

yet more sunrise / sunset pictures - yawn.
I'm sure they will be lovely but I would like to see more creative photography throughout the day.

Completely disagree with John above. Colin produces some absolutely stunning images.

I'm not saying CP doesn't produce stunning images in the main. Its just that there are several photographers that seem to think the principal time its worth doing photography is sunrise or sunset and I find that rather narrow and even if interesting initially - a tad boring.
