ANW/Crestwood and Innova Art Ltd. Announce the Introduction of Innova Digital Papers in US Market

ANW/Crestwood, Inc., Lincoln Park, NJ, and Innova Art, Ltd. announce the introduction of the Innova brand digital art papers in the U.S.A.

With over 100 years experience in the fine art paper field, ANW was one of the earliest paper companies to supply digital fine art printmakers. “ANW is very excited about our relationship with Innova and we are looking forward to introducing a paper of this caliber to the US market,”stated Mark Caliguire, President.  An importer and converter of paper products from around the world, ANW addresses a wide range of digital and traditional art applications in addition to a vast array of stationery, hobby and craft products.

Innova Art Ltd. is a producer of digital papers for fine art and photography. Based in Epping, England, with an office in New Jersey, Innova manufactures a range of papers in both smooth and textured surfaces in 100% cotton and alpha cellulose base fiber.

All products are acid/lignin free, buffered and meet stringent archive grade standards.
Innova’s inkjet receptive coating, Opti-coat,  produces excellent density and superior color gamut.  Wayne Connelly said.  “Many companies concentrate on image quality, we also considered post printing handling issues. The material quality of our proprietary coating allows the printmaker to handle, frame and ship the images with minimal risk of damage from abrasion. Scuffing is major cause of rejected output after printing is complete.

Innova papers will be offered in a jointly developed innovative plastic case ANW Crestwoods’ Wayne Marciano, V.P. of sales explains. “Retailers and consumers alike will appreciate the many benefits of Innova’s durable clear case:  The paper is better protected during shipping and transport;  the clear design allows the user to easily monitor inventory and when empty,  the cases are excellent archive grade storage containers for digital output.”

Sheets are available for immediate shipment in sizes 8.5 x 11, 11 x 17 , 13 x 19 and 17 x 22.  Parent sheets are offered in a newly sized format,  36” x 48”,  to better accommodate four 16 x 20 images with 2” borders .

Rolls -  Jumbo length 15 meter rolls (20% longer) are offered in 17”,  24”,  36”,  44”,  and 60”  widths

Any comments on the image quality of this paper? How does it work with Canon, Epson inks for 13x19 prints? Any tests on lightfastness?

I've not heard of this paper brand before - I'll try and get hold of some to test it out.

I printed an entire one man show with Innova's Photo Smooth Cotton paper. The paper is similar to Epson's Ultrasmooth Fine Art paper but it's about half the cost. My 22X33 inch photos printed absolutely beautifully on the Innova paper. I highly recommend it.

The exhibit is currently on display at the Chartwell Gallery, Park Avenue Plaza, 55. E. 52 Street, New York City. See my website, http://www.hankgans.com, for details.
