International iPhoneography Show
December 16-22, 2011
Soho Gallery for Digital Art
New York, USA
International iPhoneography Show is a joint project by MobiTog – international community of iPhoneographers (people who shoot and/or edit images, using their iOS device) and FX Photo Studio – award-winning image processing application for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
The idea behind International iPhoneography Show is to give everyone a chance to show their photography at one of the International Exhibition in different parts of the world. The first exhibition will be organized in New York, just before Christmas holidays, hosted by one of the most popular galleries – Soho Gallery for Digital Art.
It doesn’t matter much whether a person is a pro photographer or a beginner, it doesn’t matter as well where in the world he or she lives. What matters is photography and if it is good – it will be featured at the International Exhibition in Soho Gallery this December.
The International iPhoneography Show is now open for entries. Pictures should be created with FX Photo Studio – offering one of the best selection of photo effects, filters, and tools for image processing on iOS - and submitted either via email (email@example.com) or special submit form on event’s page – http://www.iphoneographyshow.com. Organizers say that iPhoneographers can use other photo apps and shoot a picture with any digital device, the only “must have” is FX Photo Studio app as a part of the workflow.
Submitted pictures will be posted on http://www.iphoneographyshow.com. Every artist, who submits his shot will get a 20% discount on Calendagram – a new service that lets iPhone users create real life calendars from their Instagram shots. The prizes don’t end here.
FX Photo Studio team and MobiTog will pick 100 best submissions, which will be shown at the exhibition. Every artist whose picture will be chosen for the exhibition gets a special THANK YOU package from the event partners, including software, hardware, special deals and discounts on iPhoneography gear.
Top submissions of the International iPhoneography Show will be awarded with free Olloclip lenses, iPik.Cases and Casetagrams. The best picture, chosen by online voting on http://www.iphoneographyshow.com, is awarded with $100 Apple Gift Card and the artist whose picture is voted best by visitors of the exhibition will receive a $500 Apple Gift Card. Not to mention that best artists will be featured on http://www.iphoneography.com and www.thebeginnerslens.com - one of the most popular iPhoneography blogs around the world.
There are no fees to participate and photographers can submit as many pictures as they like. Submissions are open from November 7th to December 7th, 2011. For more details, please check the submission guidelines and FAQs on http://www.iphoneographyshow.com
