Jessops have announced a one-day workshop hosted by Italian fashion photographer Tommy Napolitano. Taking place from 10.30-16.30 on 28 February 2016 in the retailer’s flagship store on Oxford Street, London, the Jessops Commercial Fashion Workshop aims to provide an overview of the fashion photography trade and processes, from creatively interpreting a brief to selecting the final images. Priced at £249, the workshop will cover everything you need to know to co-ordinate your own commercial fashion shoot.

Learn the principles of Fashion Photography from an esteemed, Italian fashion photographer in this one-day Jessops workshop.
With international fashion weeks just around the corner, it’s time to join the glitz and glamour by getting creative with your own fashion photography. The Jessops Commercial Fashion Workshop takes you through the world of fashion photography under the expert guidance of Tommy Napolitano, whose work includes major campaigns for Italian fashion houses. The course aims to provide an overview of the fashion photography trade and processes, from creatively interpreting a brief, to selecting the final images.

The one day, interactive workshop opens up the opportunity to experience both the theory and hands-on elements of this fast-paced and glittering industry. Napolitano and his business partner, Ricardo Freggia, will cover everything you need to know to co-ordinate your own commercial fashion shoot. From choosing a location and selecting a model, to styling, makeup and, of course, selecting the final powerful images. From this guidance, Jessops will help you to start building your very own professional portfolio with artistic images that will stand out from the crowd.

Who is the course designed for?

• Anyone with an interest in enhancing their fashion photography!
• Anyone with a basic understanding of photographic principles (Aperture, Shutter, ISO)
• Anyone with experience of using a camera with hot shoe for flash
• Anyone with access to a lens for fashion use (within 24-105mm range)
