Lakes, Landscapes and lots more – Capturing stunning shots in the Lake District with Tom Mackie

April 2009 –  Tom Mackie Images is pleased to announce an intensive four-day event designed to give just five photographers the energy and information required to take their love of landscape photography to new heights.

Taking place in the Lake District from 18th October - 22nd October 2009 you will have the opportunity to explore some of the most picturesque parts of the Lakes from towering mountains, glass-like lakes and gushing waterfalls to classic stone-built cottages.

Tom Mackie has a spontaneous approach to photography and a creative closeness with the natural landscape that will give those that attend plenty of ideas, inspiration and know how on how to perfect beautiful landscapes.

Visiting places such as Grasmere, Derwentwater and The Langdales the group will explore the magnificient mountainous landscape, stunning autumnal woodland colours and the water that spectacularly shapes the region.

During the event you will shoot alongside Tom and have the opportunity to gather nurmerous striking images for your own personal portfolio and after lots of creative time out shooting you will return to the hotel in the evenings for image review sessions with Tom where you will have the opportunity for one to one discussions about your photography and any challenges that you have.

Tom will also present a slideshow of his images from around the region to inspire your imagination.
