By way of its Facebook fan page, Leica has revealed a little more about the upcoming Leica Mini M. The new teaser graphic shows a camera that's bigger than the existing Leica X2 (a.k.a. 'Micro M') but smaller than the Leica M, as you would expect based on the 'Mini M' designation. Although the image reveals little more, it now seems certain that the Leica Mini M will not have a body-integral optical viewfinder. The official launch date is 11th June.

Hmmm! Looks like Leica bought the tooling for the K-01 and some black paint. Add a few thousand (pick your currency)to the price and bingo, a Leica Mini M-01 APS-C with a K to M mount adapter and Photoshop elements thrown in. Not a total loss for Marc Newson then.
