Presenting: The Leica X Vario in Alternate Silver Finish

The Leica X Vario will now be available with a silver body as an alternative to the discreet black of the standard model. In either classic black or elegant silver, the Leica X Vario has the typical look and feel of a Leica and sets standards in its class with its picture quality.

Highlights of the Leica X Vario include a high-performance, APS-C format, CMOS image sensor with over 16.5 megapixels (effective 16.2 MP) that is particularly large for this camera class. The Leica X Vario is the first compact camera to combine this professional sensor with a high-performance zoom lens – the Leica Vario Elmar 18–46 mm f/3.5–6.4 ASPH

The Leica X Vario in silver finish can be purchased from Leica Authorized Dealers in February 2014.
