Using this application, you can position the simulated flare by simply tilting your device, or tap the lock icon to use touch positioning. You can control the brightness of the flare, choose from various lens coatings or use anamorphic lens effects. LensFlare for iPhone is available via the App Store.

The app is very buggy indeed but I've been able to work around it a little bit. I can't wait for an update to this app. The effect is really nice and fun to work with but the size and orientation issues need to be ironed out.
