LetsGoDigital have just published a First Look report of the new Pentax OptioMX digital digital camera, which features 3.2 effective megapixels and 10X optical zoom to capture still images and high resolution (VGA) full-motion movies on MPEG-4 format with zoom capability.

Pentax Canada lists the MX on their website, so it is available in Canada. For a list of dealers by area:

they ship to Canada and will give you a confirmed price in Canadian dollars including all customs fees, shipping and local taxes. I have ordered from them and it is no hassle, door to door, charged to my Canadian credit card. The only issue is that I doubt the warranty would by honored by Pentax Canada -- you would have to send the unit to Pentax in the U.S. for any warranty repairs.
