Leica Press Release

Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 4 is considered to be the most professional image processing software currently available and, in combination with Leica cameras, guarantees ultimate image quality. Leica Camera AG has maintained a successful cooperation with Adobe Systems Incorporated for many years. Our mutual aim is to provide our customers with perfect image quality and intuitive workflow solutions. Powerful tools enable fast and efficient organisation, optimisation and presentation of your images. In this, Leica attaches great importance to the future-proof Adobe RAW format, DNG (digital negative).

Leica cameras are fully integrated into the Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 4 workflow, for example with colour and lens profiles. In addition, the speed and stability of tethered shooting with the Leica S2 medium-format digital camera has been further improved.

Further new features:

_ Increased processing speed
_ Selective moire filter
_ M-Lens profiles
_ Selective white balance

Important note:
With the introduction of Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 4, Microsoft Windows XP operating systems are no longer supported. The previous version, Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 3, which is fully compatible with Windows XP, is of course still available as an alternative for our customers who use this operating system.
