Lomo LC-A Turns 30

This month, the Lomographic Society is celebrating the Lomo LC-A’s 30th birthday. The company is offering everyone a chance to star in their LC-A stop-motion lomo advert; which will air non-stop in their shopwindows telling all the world what Lomography is. Aside from this, there is a chance to win a limited special edition LC-A and carrying case. The celebration is taking place today at 5-9 Newburgh St W1F 7RE. On 28th June, the company will be offering 10 lucky participants the chance to borrow the LC-A+ camera for free all day. "It just so happens to be the annual London Pride parade will be held on this day and what better subjects to shoot than the loud and vibrant characters on the parade course," the company says. We are offering everyone a chance to star in our very own LC-A stop-motion lomo advert (the first one in the world) which will air non-stop in our shop windows telling all the world what Lomography is. We need YOU to help us out with this project and you’ll be forever immortalised on our windows. We thought this would be a great way to toast our favourite camera, and the namesake of our brand. There will be cake, there will be music but best of all, there will be fun! Aside from this there is a chance to win a limited special edition LC-A and carrying case. All you need to do is come down and sign up and the lucky winner will be will also be special treats for those of you who have an LC-A camera and discounts for those of you who don’t!

GET A LOMO LC-A FOR THE DAY
In continuation of the LC-A birthday celebrations, we are offering 10 lucky participants the chance to borrow the LC-A+ camera for free all day on Saturday, the 28th of June and to avail of discounts while you’re at it. It just so happens to be the annual London Pride parade will be held on this day and what better subjects to shoot than the loud and vibrant characters on the parade course. It will run from Trafalgar square, up Regent street and all through Oxford street.

We’ll kit you out with the LC-A camera and some film and you can wander the streets with your friends capturing the sights and sounds of the gay and proud. They’ll be excellent subjects and the LC-A loves to get up close and personal so it’ll be a hoot.
