London-on-Sea
It’s been sweltering hot here in London this weekend (although somewhat inevitably a storm is supposed to be on the way…). A few people and a dog were making the most of the summer sun by pretending that this thin strip of sand and pebbles by the Thames was a proper grown-up beach. In the background are some of London’s most famous landmarks, including St. Pauls. The contrast between the built-up skyline and the sandy beach is what I was trying to achieve in this shot.

YOu are not a lucky man if it comes to this kind of weather and where you are at. I remember the time I was in London and the many long weekends I stayed over during summer. Being on the banks of the thames might give a bit of a cool down but nothing like submerging in the northsea. Where I live now it's about 30 degrees C but the water is still around 18-19 so it helps a cool down
To hot for shooting even though I did buy a aquapack for a bit of playing around on the surfboard.
