NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC AND MANFROTTO PRESENT: NEW AFRICA COLLECTION
London, May 2014
National Geographic and Manfrotto are launching six new camera bags to refresh the already popular Africa collection.
Building on the taste and mood of the last Africa collection, National Geographic and Manfrotto have created a new set of bags outfitted with genuine leather and washed canvas. The leather flap and trim combined with the soft and handy canvas body give a natural feel and sturdiness to the bags, making them perfect for any travelling situation, even the “urban jungle”.
With ample room and pockets to pack essentials and accessories, each bag in National Geographic’s expanded Africa collection has been designed to ensure that equipment and personal belongings are safe and secure, with ample padding for added protection. They are designed to help photography enthusiasts take on the day in style and enjoy their passion, so that they will never miss the chance to catch special moments.
The bags have been designed to look more fashionable retaining quality and practicality. The quality is evident in three areas;
Protection for the equipment – the inner parts have been designed with great care and attention to detail further improving the protection of cameras or any other electronic device in the best way possible.
High- quality materials – the entire collection is made from tough yet stylish materials, and with fashionable leather detailing.
Ergonomic design – each bag is ergonomically designed to facilitate comfort and utility, providing photographers a safe, easy way to extract the camera quickly without the risk of missing the moment.
Each bag is designed to fit the camera and the lens perfectly and safely. The bags are designed for camera protection, but they can be used also for accessories and personal belongings.
The new range of bags is equipped with protective zones that are shaped depending on the bag size. The bags come with three types of protection for different uses:
Small pouch inside the bag: designed to hold and protect a compact system camera or point-and-shoot camera with lens
Medium pouch inside the bag: protects a DSLR with lens and same additional accessories.
Inner parts: are able to hold a DSLR with additional lenses and other accessories such as flashes, batteries and more.
The range offers 6 variants which includes;
Midi Satchel and Tote Bag - stylish day-trip bags
The midi-satchel has a big photographic compartment and also room for a tablet computer. Whilst the Tote Bag has lots of extra space for personal belongings and small accessories.
Sling Bag and Backpack/Sling Bag - comfortable and compact for everyday use
The Backpack/ Sling Bag can be worn as a backpack or a sling bag, depending on the occasion.
Small and Medium Backpacks – for all the essentials
These backpacks can be divided into upper and lower sections thanks to a hidden, removable pocket. Equipment can be safely stored in the lower compartment, which is easily accessible from the front pocket. The bags also provide a simple solution for carrying a tripod and a laptop computer.
Available from 30th May, price start at just £79.95.
