I’m shopping for one of theses gizmos too and when doing this, I usually make a file of all the stuff I collect on whatever it is I’m looking for.

My trouble here is what to call the file. I have a Maxtor external hard drive and it’s not the same thing as this thing, and this thing is not the same as some other similar things, so what is a good simple generic name for a portable (compact), battery powered, digital camera flash card memory storage hard drive that says all that without having to say all that?

"Portable Storage Device" is the generic name that is usually used.
