I found no trouble with the head emissions because I forgot to turned it off one time and it played for 24 hours and it's just warm to touch (considering no active cooling unit in my place). It plays MKV and H.264 format flawlessly and video quality is great. Also plays all the codec I have played with it and I really love the ISO features it has. More unique features I am discovering day by day.

A friend came over who wants to copy a movie that I have already transferred to my Mvix built-in internal HDD. I just connected his USB flash drive to its USB, used the remote to copy the video from HDD to USB. Yep, very simple!

I do have numerous lists of movies of different genres on my PC - actions, love story, suspense, drama, etc. When I got my Mvix Ultio I transferred them to its Internal HDD and I feel overwhelmed because it allows me to make my own play list. So I sort the movies by genre and now I can easily locate the movie I want to watch. No troubles with FW or RW and speed of shifting the remote response.

I'm happy to have Ultio as media server and storage in one. So far I have no troubles streaming my video files that come in ISO formats. Actually it can also support .mts formats from HD camcorders where in me and my family can enjoy watching videos I myself recorded from birthdays, weddings, thanks giving, etc. I have USB dock hooked up to use as external HDD for me to be able to carry easily to other family member's house. This complete box is highly recommended by me.

I agree with you mjbc. The Mvix Ultio is easy to set up, because I myself did this for just a few minutes. This product amaze me because of its features and functionality. It's really great that I found this product because I am really tired of watching videos on the internet in front of my computer or downloading and burning the movie on a cd. And with This Ultio's internet capabilities and ability to read different file formats, I can now sit back and relax on my sofa without the any hassle.

The PS3 is $400 and the Mac mini starts at $600. This is only $170. Believe it or not, there are people out there who haven't already paid entirely too much for Sony or Apply hardware. For those people, this is a much better device.
