New Canon Firmware

Mark Goldstein | Digital Compact Cameras | October 2, 2003 | 1 Comments

Canon yesterday released a new firmware update (Ver. 2.0.0.0) for the following digital cameras:

- PowerShot S400 DIGITAL ELPH
- DIGITAL IXUS 400
- PowerShot G5
- PowerShot S50
- PowerShot A70
- PowerShot A60
- PowerShot A300

The firmware update will make your camera PictBridge compliant if it is not already compliant. PictBridge is a new industry standard for direct printing that allows you to print images without using a computer by directly connecting digital cameras and digital camcorders to a printer, regardless of the devices’ brand and model.
