Fujifilm Press Release

Color photo paper for professional portraits

With the new Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digital Paper Type DP Silk, Fujifilm is presenting a new color photo paper with a silk finish for professional portrait photography. In combination with digital exposure units such as the Fujifilm Frontier system, the paper offers the excellent picture quality of silver halide print material: outstanding color reproduction, sharpness and a high D-max value for deep, saturated black tones. Brilliant, long-lasting white tones, an extended color space and excellent shadow delineation – these special character- istics make this paper particularly suitable for professional portrait, wedding, school and kindergarten photos.

The new material was specially developed for printing in digital printers. Even at exposure times of just a few nanoseconds, it achieves very high maximum densities and a maximum color space. Like all papers in the Fujicolor Crystal Archive family, this new material also possesses outstanding light stability and archive resistance. Moreover, the surface consistency gives it optimum copy protection, reinforced by the copyright mark on the reverse.

Overview of features:

-Very high maximum densities -Optimum adjustment to laser printing -Luminescent white tones and pure, brilliant light delineation -Maximum color space -Outstanding shadow delineation -Outstanding light stability and archive resistance -Optimum copy protection

The new photo paper is available now in all standard formats, from 8.9 to 50.8 centimeters.
