Ricoh UK Press Release
First time at Focus for Ricoh !
Andy Earl, top photographer from the music industry, will present a series of talks on the Ricoh stand.
Ricoh are delighted to announce that Andy Earl, photographer within the international music business, will be doing a series of talks on the Ricoh stand, N2, at Focus on Imaging 2006. Earl has had a highly successful career in the music scene with over 120 record sleeves and thousands of portraits including ones of Madonna, Robbie Williams and Paul McCartney. Earl has just opened an exhibition of his photographs taken of Johnny Cash at the Blink Gallery, London.
At the show, Andy Earl will talk about his background and his experiences photographing some of the best-known names in the music business today. His talk will include working with digital and the award winning Ricoh GR Digital camera.
Ricoh, the award-winning manufacturer of the popular Caplio digital camera range, are pleased to be exhibiting for the first time at Focus on Imaging 2006. Amongst the products that they will be showing on stand N 2 will be the recently launched GR Digital and R30 models.
The new GR Digital inherits the superb image quality that made the award winning GR Series (first launched in 1996) of 35mm compact film cameras so popular, as well as the depictive performance to satisfy professional photographers, distilled into a compact 25-mm thin body. With a high-quality feel and superb expandability, this is the perfect tool for both professional photographers and advanced amateurs. The GR lens and GR Engine development teams have achieved the extraordinary GR Digital picture quality through a synergy between a lens, which can produce a top quality image, and an engine able to process that level of data.
Ricoh will also be announcing a brand new addition to their range at the Focus show. For any additional information:
