The Specification on the Homepage means, that the Objective has 330gr. Also i think it is plastic :-(

"Is the black mount metal or plastic". Of course it's made of metal! What do you expect for a 700 dollar lens? Cameralabs has posted some full size sample images made with this lens on a Nikon D800. I must say that I'm not really impressed.

it is metal.
The lens is lightweight.
The lens takes great pictures.
