Nikon has issued firmware updates for its Coolpix P340, Coolpix P530 (pictured) and Coolpix P600 digital compact cameras. Version 1.1 for all three Coolpix models addresses an issue that, in some rare cases, caused the camera to freeze when the camera was turned on while the shutter-release button was held down.
