The Nikon COOLPIX P530 – Precision and performance at your fingertips

Your ideal companion to capture those picture perfect moments, the COOLPIX P530 ensures that even distant subjects are easily captured in clear, sharp, fine detail with its incredible 42x optical zoom, extendable to 84x with Dynamic Fine Zoom* and back-illuminated 16 MP CMOS sensor.

Thanks to advanced Lens Shift VR (vibration reduction) that counters camera shake you can shoot smooth Full HD movies and crisp images with confidence, even if you are in a moving vehicle.

Enjoy wide-angle viewing on the large 7.5-cm/3.0-in 921-k LCD screen, while its anti-reflection coating and brightness adjustment ensures you can clearly see what you are shooting, even in bright sunlight. However, you can easily switch to the Electronic Viewfinder for more precise framing or to suit your own shooting preference.

For challenging shots, like distant wildlife or high-contrast set ups, the COOLPIX P530 offers scene modes tailored for high-zoom settings, helping you achieve the shot you are aiming for.

James Loader, Senior Product Manager Consumer Products at Nikon UK, comments “Ergonomically designed, powerful and compact, the COOLPIX P530 packs a punch with its super-zoom lens and built-in electronic viewfinder. An essential addition to any photography enthusiast’s collection, this camera is capable of capturing fast-moving action to crisp and clear shots of distant subjects, delivering performance and precision with every click.”

Why don't the mfgs include important items in their initial press releases such as can the camera capture images in RAW format and can what options are there for exposure bracketing.

In an expensive power zoom, I would anticipate these options for those who are a bit more serious, but still not wanting to tote separate bodies and lenses.

IT IS INCREDIBLE, NIKON GAVE ONE STEP BACK. I HAVE WAITED TO BUY MY CAMERA BECAUSE DE COOLPIX P510´S LCD SCREEN HAD ONLY MOVEMENT IN 2D DIRECTIONS . AFTER, THE COOLPIX 520 HAD A SCREEN TURN IN 3D DIRECTIONS. . . ¡IT WAS WONDERFUL!, BUT IT HAD PROBLEMS WITH ITS FOCUS IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS. THEN, I WAITED THE NEXT EDITION OF THOSE CAMERAS, WITH THE ASSURANCE THAT NIKON WOULD MAKE THE CORRECTING OF THE ERRORS.

BUT. . . . ¡NO! . . . . IT IS RETURNING TO THE FIXED SCREEN. IT IS THE MOST BAD DECISION. I DO NOT WAIT MORE. I WILL SEARCH AND I WILL BUY MY CAMERA IN AN OTHER MAKER.

AND NO TO TALK TO THE DISASTROUS f 3,3 - f6,5, TO THE DIAFRAGMA´S OPENING IN THE P600 CAMERA.
