Nikon have released a new version of Nikon Transfer, a download utility which allows images to be simultaneously downloaded to two locations. Version 1.5.0 of Nikon Transfer adds support for the new Nikon D300s, D3000, Coolpix S570, S640, S70, and S1000pj digital cameras and implements the modifications listed below.

Website: Nikon Transfer 1.5.0

Modifications enabled with Ver. 1.5.0

* A Date Shot option has been added to the Index pulldown menu in the Folder Naming dialog, opened when Create subfolder for each transfer in the Primary Destination panel under Options is selected and the Edit button is clicked to change the folder naming rule.
However, the Date Shot used in this case is not the shooting date recorded in image file Exif information, but rather the date the file was created.  Therefore, if the images were captured while the camera’s clock was not accurately set, or if creation date information is overwritten, images will be transferred to a folder named using a different date than the shooting date information stored in image Exif data.

* A Use subfolder with same name if it exists option is now available when Create subfolder for each transfer in the Primary Destination or Backup Destination panel under Options is selected.
