Bit of advise to make sure people do get there cash back.
I bought a £450 camera.
Applied Online November, uploaded receipts/warranty image & forgot all about it.
It says if any problems with image they will let us know & get to re-submit.
I did not hear, in fact you do not get any emails confirming submission, which you would think is odd.
Anyway I just remembered about it now and phoned the number. Was told perhaps the image was not in correct .jpg format. I can't remember what I had sent now. I was told I would not have been informed if the image was blank, again odd! they have my email, they are meant to be personally checked. I was told to re-submit, I thought was out of time but offer had been extended.
Few things that could have gone wrong here.
I did print my cashback registration number but unless sending by post you are not asked to print & may have assumed you would get this by email so could easily not have any proof of ever submitted, OK deadline has been extended but could still get caught out. Strange you don't get email confirmation (I still did not get one on second submission). I checked the application form this time & no mention of format. The lady on phone said quite often people send .pdf's and this won't work. 1st why can't they load .pdf's (I would have thought they have the technology?!?)& 2nd if this is the most common form of scanned image would be good idea to tell people NOT to use PDF's.
All in all as was often the case with cash back offers in the past, they were not made easy in the hope that people will forget, make a mistake or miss a deadline. To be fair the offer has been extended but I image more to encourage people to buy now rather than assist those who have already bought.

Hi Joe,

thanks for the information... you don't have your blank copy of the cashback claim form by any chance do you? Unfortunately, the link to claim the cashback hasn't been working for a week. Nikon have promised to send me a claim form via post, but with the deadline coming up I'd like to get it done as soon as possible! If you do, let me know and I'll get my email address to you.

Many thanks,

Judd

Thanks Joe,

I followed the link you posted and it worked... going through Nikon's main website doesn't work!

All the best,

Judd
