Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

London, UK – The prospects of capturing a compelling image once the sun has gone down has always been pretty ‘dim’.

However Nokia has set out to dispel the gloom by capturing previously hidden human stories thanks to the low light capability of its Lumia 925 phone.

The company travelled the length and breadth of the UK with photojournalist Nick Ray, to photograph the hidden lives of people at night and to shed light on their amazing stories that would otherwise go untold or unseen.

Recent Nokia research has revealed that 71% of people said low light was the most challenging situation in which to take a good photo and two thirds of people said they were disappointed with the photos they had taken after dark or in low light conditions.

From nurses tending unwanted pets looked after around the clock at an RSPCA animal shelter in Stoke Newington to burlesque performers in Soho getting ready to bring Soho to life, all the nightlife was captured on its latest device, the Nokia Lumia 925.
