Official Canon EOS 20D Sample Images

Canon EOS 20DCanon Japan have made available 3 sample images from the 8 megapixel Canon EOS 20D DSLR. All three JPGs are available to download (4.5mb - 6.5mb each). The new EF-S lenses weren’t actually used with the 20D - instead the EF50mm f/1.4 USM and EF35mm f/1.4L USM prime lenses were used instead.

Say, is that a dead pixel on the woman's portrait? It is located on her forehead high above "her left" (our right as viewing) eyebrow and to our right of a dark blemish in the center of her forhead. I noticed this right away because I have a dead pixel on my 10D. Not a big deal though unless you are viewing at 100% but can be PS'd our very easily.

I wondered the same thing, though in fact there appear to be more than one of these white spots. When enlarged in PS you can see though that it takes up far more than 1 pixel, so is more likeley something to do with makeup or similar

Mark, since it is a jpeg a dead pixel will be spread to the surrounding pixels. At least that is how it is with my 10d. I'll have to take a closer look in PS as well.
