Canon have published 4 sample images taken with the 12.8 megapixel Canon EOS 5D digital SLR. Full sized JPEGs are available, which were all converted from RAW using RAW Image Task. The largest image is 12.6 MB in size!

According to my friends from the Leica forum, those images are not very impressive...
Let's keep in mind, that examining 9MP JPEGs on a computer screen is not the way to evaluate the quality of a photographic image.
