Nikon has posted a number of sample images taken with the new 24-120mm, 28-300mm, 55-300mm and 85mm lenses. There are 5 sample photos captured with the AF-S 24-120mm f/4G ED VR, 5 shots taken with the AF-S 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR, 2 images photographed with the AF-S DX 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR and 5 photos shot with the AF-S 85mm f/1.4G.

Just looked at the 50-300 sample 1.
Taken with a D300s at ISO 1250.
The image is very noisy. In fact, I wouldn't bother printing this at more than 6x4.
Nikon should post some iamges taken in good light so we may be able to better judge the optical quality of this lens.
