Olympus has announced a limited-edition E-P1, whose body is covered in Swarovski crystals. According to Pocket-lint, the Olympus E-P1 Swarovski edition will be available exclusively to order from Harrods’ Micro Anvika department. The two-lens kit, which comes complete with a flash and a wooden box, can be yours for £1999.99.

I saw this and remembered the story I read somewhere where war photographers started insisting that cameras be colored black, because sunlight glinting off silver finish made them too much of a target. You'd be dead in a day if you took this one into the trenches... if an enemy combatant didn't get you, someone on your own side would probably shoot you anyway.
