Olympus has posted a firmware update for the Olympus E-P3 compact system camera. Version 1.1 fixes the following bugs: 1) with the optional add-on electronic viewfinder attached, certain touch-screen functions would not work properly, 2) when an Eye-Fi card was used, the camera would not show the AF target. These issues have been resolved. You can update the camera firmware from within the Digital Camera Updater software, while the XZ-1 connected to the computer.

No.....Please, no.......
Don't tell me I have to download that crappy Olypmus software and pollute my computer with it just to fix an Olympus bug. Then I would just have to uninstall it again.

Why can't Olympus just let us update by downloading and installing in the camera via the SD card? Are Olympus cameras so weirdly designed that this process can't be done?

Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! Why lord, why? What have I ever done to deserve Olympus software???????
