Want to see exactly what the new Olympus E-PL5 compact system camera looks like in the flesh?

Check out our hands-on gallery of photos of the Olympus E-PL5 compact camera.

Olympus have transferred the impressive Live MOS sensor from its award-winning Micro Four Thirds O-MD flagship to the new PEN Lite (or E-PL5), which combines best-in-class image quality with the stand-out styling that has made PEN a must-have for fans of iconic product design. The new sensor teams up with another O-MD component - the TruePic VI image processor - to power FAST AF, which makes the autofocus on the new PEN Lite duo comparable to the lightning-quick O-MD E-M5.

Poor control suite compared with Ep3, where have the control wheels gone for rapid change in aperture. No interest in this product.

Take an EP3, make it 12mm wider with integral VF offset to the left, with control wheel on the right.
Sad to see a venerable company coming out with cr@p like this.

I hope spring brings an advanced ep3 and a larger omd, more om4 footprint.
