Just want to note: Olympus USA is running the same promotion, only you get $300 for your working SLR. The shop I work at has sold out a few times already since the promotion started here late last month. I think if I hadn't spent all my money on my Pentax system last, I would have gotten into the E1 system by now. It really is the best thing out there right now, all told.

And when Olympus UK include the OM-Series to E-Series adaptor in the deal (so I can continue to use my OM lenses) then I will bite. Until then, Olympus, forget it. And I'm an die-hard Olympus fan who rates the E-1 highly.

I honestly think that won't ever happen, Jon. It certainly is unfortunate, though. Some of those old OM lenses simply rock, sorta like the old Takumar and Pentax screw-mount lenses that work on my *istD

Hey Mark, why is "scr3w" still censored? I'm just talking about old lenses here.

John I thought I'd fixed that censoring issue. I'll go and take another look...

Thanks for the info about the adapter. I know you can get on for the EOS mount. I wonder if this one is from Olympus, or the Japanese company that makes the Eos one. BTW, the EOS adapter is $175USD.
