Want to see exactly how the new Olympus E-P5 compact system camera compares to the flagship OM-D EM-5?

Check out our  hands-on gallery of photos of the Olympus E-P5 compact camera alongside the popular OM-D EM-5. We've included the E-P5 with the optional VF-4 electronic viewfinder fitted, which actually makes it larger than the EM5.

For the history buffs, there's also some side-by-side shots with the PEN F film camera, which was clearly a big inspiration for the design of the EP5.

So its an OM-D with a crap grip, a better viewfinder that you can remove and a pop up flash?
Its good looking, but ill buy the viewfinder for my EP-3 and wait a year or two and pick it up for a proper price.

Olympus E-P5 is a excellent camera but it is a refined model of old Olympus E-M5 Mirrorless camera, both the camera features same core specification. http://thenewcamera.com/olympus-e-p5-vs-olympus-e-m5/

Nice to see the actual size comparsion vs the EM5. This may be my first 4/3 purchase....Great looking design as well.

No 24p and the same meager 20Mbps bit-rate. It's as if Sony sold them the sensor on the condition that they cripple movie mode.

I know stills come first, but they're already garnering A+ stills ratings. Take a developer off those damn art filters and put them to work implementing a video codec that doesn't hamstring this hardware.
