OnAsia Launches Image Keyworder Software

Singapore, July 25th 2007 – OnAsia has announced the release of a new Windows-based photographer friendly keywording program called ‘Image Keyworder’. It can be downloaded for a 15-day trial from http://www.imagekeyworder.com.

Image Keyworder comes with a built-in thesaurus allowing users to select words from a regularly updated database of over 40,000 terms comprised of synonyms, alternate forms, singulars and plurals and most UK/US spelling variations. The thesaurus includes conceptual terms, Latin names for flora and fauna or even Premiership and NFL teams. “The thesaurus function means that with a single click you can add several relevant terms to an image. It’s much easier and faster than keywording manually,” explained Yvan Cohen, a Director at OnAsia.

The program also features template and batch functions that allow users to apply keywords, captions and other metadata to groups of images.
