How did the new 20mm lens perform compared to the old one. Mainly autofocus. Was it faster?

What does Leica have to do with this ?
Panasonic made and developed this and Leica buys Panasonic made cameras and sticks a Leica brand on them then charges dumb people 3x times the price, for that Panasonic gets to use "Leica" brand on their lenses that are also made by Panasonic and not by Leica.
You need to freshen up that knowledge of yours.
