Panasonic has just released a firmware update for its highly successful premium compact, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. Version 1.3 brings you the following:

  1. Improved auto white balance performance.
  2. Improved auto white balance performance in sunset mode.
  3. Improved recovery operation from unremoved lens cap.
  4. Improved operation of MF ASSIST/AF area selection.
  5. Improved display of Manual Exposure Assistance.

Panasonic updates firmware for DMC-LX3
A new firmware is released for Panasonic’s premium manual compact camera DMC-LX3. Firmware Version 1.3 improves performance including auto white balance. The firmware also rectifies several minor issues to enhance operation.
Panasonic invites all users of DMC-LX3 to apply the updated firmware. The new firmware will be available worldwide at http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/, at GMT 6:00 on the 1st of June, 2009.
