The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ40 is Panasonic’s most advanced photo and video hybrid compact camera to date, with a 20x Optical Zoom, 50p Full HD video recording and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Panasonic will also be launching the DMC-TZ35 which has the same features as the TZ40 but includes a slightly smaller 16.1 megapixel, high sensitivity MOS Sensor and is without Wi-Fi connectivity.

when would this be released
its now on par with hx30v in megapixel and screen terms...
infact better at touchreen and looks...
sony might add a touchscreen to hx30v or even more?
i own hx30v...its ultimate but miss touchscreen on tz30...
have a discussion on successor of sony hx30v and pana tz30(i.e. tz40) ... to help decide bw them...
