Pentax K-x / K-7 Firmware Updates

Pentax has released firmware updates for its K-x and K-7 digital SLR cameras. Versions 1.02 (K-x) and 1.11 (K-7) add support for SDXC (Secure Digital eXtended Capacity) memory cards, though Pentax remarks that the cameras’ maximum transfer rates are “not compatible with UHS speed class”. Meanwhile, Pentax Japan has added the Pentax K-7 to the list of discontinued cameras. The firmware updates can be downloaded from the websites below.
