The initial proposition on the Cyberlink website when downloading the beta version was a free license for PhotoDirector 2011 for people giving feedback on beta testing. I spent a good day and half in all testing this software resulting in, what I think, being a decent feedback on possible improvements in different areas of the software and a well detailed bug report. Of course I also answered all the questions from the formular I've got via e-mail.

So, the point is : the initial proposition was a free license for Photodirector 2011 for people sending feedbacks, I think mine was rather good and detailed, to finally being changed into a 25% discount on the 2011 version and a free upgrade to the 2012 version. I just got an e-mail with this offer today. Not a bad offer, but not the original one. This is simply not correct.

Just got a comment from Cyberlink on my blog post today clarifying the situation.

"We at CyberLink certainly honor our promises, the Beta program will send our full version as gift to user by June 30."

That's right, this is what was stated on the download page from the beta version. The answer was fast and fair. I appreciate that. But that still does not explain the email I received offering me a 25% discount...

Probably a mistake, my guess.

Today I got a very fast answer from a Cyberlink representative who was very comprehensive. Finally, it turned out that I got this discount offer e-mail by mistake. Two thumbs up for the quickness and kindness from the cyberlink customers/users service.
