PhotographyBLOG Holiday in the Sun

Mark Goldstein | PhotographyBLOG | February 17, 2004 | 7 Comments

I’m off to Santa Cruz in Tenerife on Wednesday for a 10-day trip to soak up the sun and photograph the Carnival, which apparently is the second-biggest in the world after Rio de Janeiro (at least that’s what the guidebook claims). Consequently I won’t be answering emails or updating PhotographyBLOG until I arrive back on March 1st. The Photo of the Week competition will also return on that day.

It should be a busy 10 days, what with the carnival (which starts when I arrive and finishes when I leave) and Mount Teide national park to visit. Plus I've just bought a Tamron 28-75mm Di lens so I'll be putting that through it's paces - expect a review when I return. I'll also be on the lookout for a friendly photography shop with the Canon 17-40mm in stock grin

Well, happy holidays, make many pictures.
I'll miss my daily photographyBLOG shot though.. but 10 days should be just enough to prevent cold turkey effect grin

Knowing me I will probably try to update the site if I can, but it certainly won't be everyday.
