Dear Sir,

I like the philosophy of not touching up images on a computer, although it would mean missing out on a lot of opportunities to make a good photo great, and to have a lot of fun.

I did notice, however, that the photograph of the dog in this portfolio is not totally untouched. It looks to me as though the levels have been significantly altered, which would constitute touching up the image. Just struck me that, should this be the case, (and I may be wrong) that the comments by the photographer could be construed as slightly misleading.

Please let me know whether or not I am right, and also if you agree that altering levels does count as 'touching up' a photograph.

Yours sincerely,

Stewart Bywater.
