David LeafeThe 7th PhotographyBLOG Portfolio has been submitted by David Leafe.

“I am a very amateur photographer (as you can see) just starting out on a new hobby but very excited by images I saw on a recent holiday in Morocco. Tried to capture some of the flavour of the people of the country in relaxed and un-posed shots as well as a few other interesting details e.g. the urns and the flags attached to the mooring buoys in the beach town of Essouria.”

No so amateur! Some great shots, very nice colours. I especially like the one with all the lens flare - I would never have even attempted that.

Yeah, not bad for a first timer! Welcome to the club. I shall be publishing some of my own Memories of Morocco later today. They'll put your efforts well into the shade.

We thoroughly enjoyed your photographs, but sadly found them very derivative. There is an EXCELLENT photographer out here called Mr. Tarns A who has just staged a magnificent exhibition to rave reviews in the Sydney Opera House entitled: "My Memories of Morocco - How I Travelled and Took Photographs of My Memories Without Anyone Else's Help or Inspiration". You should really try to see it.
