Mikhail RadinThe 24th PhotographyBLOG Portfolio has been submitted by Mikhail Radin.

“These images are a subset of my ‘Spring’ album; the rest are available on my website along with a lot of other photo content. These images were taken around New York City in various parks during the Spring of 2003 and 2004. I use a Canon PowerShot s45.

Photography lets me experience my surroundings with a deeper appreciation and understanding. It forces me to pay attention to minor details that otherwise go unnoticed. It makes travel that much more rewarding.”

When I was a child I would go around looking at all the little wonderous things nature would put in my path, like flowers, grass, bugs and animals. Now days I feel a little like an explorer again, especially when I can slip a camera lens in a small unusual space, like your spring #7, a giant forest of fantastic tulip trees. Thank you, it is a real pleasure.
