Places and Faces

A rather grand, albeit modern, building in the centre of Santa Cruz, and a clever sculpture in the visual arts area of the city ( I somehow managed to walk past it for several days running, despite it being as tall as me).

Love those pictures. They all have a certain 'tone' to them. What did you use for the pictures?
Great job!

Yes Mark it was a fantastic trip. Porto was the highlight which I did not expect. For me at least, Porto is incredible place to photograph during the day and night. Made some new friends too because of my digital camera. Take a photo of someone, and share their photo using the camera's LCD panel. It always brings a smile even if I only speak a some words in Portuguese. Now I have to fulfill my promises to them over this coming weekend. Emailing their photos and for others I promised to make prints of my best photos from this trip and mail them to them.

The face sculpture looks fantastic. I think that would really benefit from some black and white treatment!
