PMA 2007 - Olympus P-1

Olympus P-1PMA 2007: Olympus were showing the prototype of their professional DSLR camera under glass at the show. Code-named the Olympus P-1 (this may not be the final name), Olympus haven’t released any firm details about the new camera, preferring to keep things close to their chests at the moment. A 2007 launch for the Olympus P-1 is highly probable though, with the new DSLR aiming to compete with the likes of the Nikon D200.

Do you see the thumb impression on the
lower right of the LCD?

It apparantly is 'articulating' ( my first written use of the word ).

Does this suggest the Pro model will have Live View?

Very interesting.

@Nicholas: Olympus has already confirmed the P-1 will have Live View. And yes, the LCD will be "movable".. I was really hoping for a "snap on" wireless LCD (with touchscreen option), but alas, this looks nice already.

Repositioning of the index wheel looks superior to the E-1. Greater spacing a plus for those with big mits!

Can't wait to get my hands on it.
