PODAS Photography Workshops Offer Unique Photography Learning Adventures with Personal Attention from Leading Photographers
COPENHAGEN, July 18, 2012—Phase One announced open enrollment for four new special Phase One Digital Artist Series (PODAS) Workshops—one scheduled each month from September through December, 2012. They will be held in Namibia, Scotland, Monument Valley in Arizona, and New Zealand.
Established in 2010, PODAS is unique among photography workshops in providing multiple leading photographers for intensive one-on-one instruction and the loan to participants of the world’s leading professional camera equipment—the Phase One IQ series medium format camera system—for the entire workshop. PODAS offers an everything-taken-care of experience with top accommodations, adventure and inspiration.
What is PODAS?
It’s the luxury of having everything taken care of so that you can focus on perfecting your craft and capturing images that you might never before have thought possible. You will be met at the airport of the designated city and enjoy transportation throughout the workshop, private accommodations and memorable meals. You’ll enjoy the scenery and the company of fellow photographers, while you’re producing great new work.
You will experience the thrill of working with and learning on one of the finest camera systems available. The Phase One IQ160—60 megapixel medium format camera system—is what professional photographers use. And it is yours to use for the duration of the workshop. To take the experience even further you can select from and work with a range of lenses. And you will take home with you a copy of Capture One Pro, the professional raw rendering and image editing software that all this great equipment runs on; it also runs on most of the leading DSLR cameras on the market today.
You will have the adventure of visiting locations you’ve dreamed about. PODAS locations are often exotic, and always breathtaking.
Finally, PODAS is unique in offering exceptional personal attention. Class size is always limited; instructors are chosen from the top ranks of the profession. Unlike perhaps any other workshop experience, multiple instructors and the blend of classroom and field work ensure that you receive the attention you deserve to take your photography further than ever before.
