Reflecta announces new solution to macro photography

Kenro, the UK and Ireland distributor for Reflecta, the respected German manufacturer of cutting-edge digitization products, has launched a new product that will provide macro photographers with a cost-effective way of shooting highly detailed images, the Reflecta DigiMicroscope Professional.

Photographers can now enjoy extreme close-up photography without the associated price tag by utilising its microscope capable of producing five megapixel resolution, which can be further increased to 12 megapixels with interpolation, and a zoom of up to 500x.

Using the integrated 3.5 inch display and 8 LED illumination, detail, texture and patterns of minute objects and surfaces can be observed and then saved directly using its integrated micro SD card slot to allow for unlimited memory space on different microSD cards.

When on the go, the microscope is operated with a Li-Ion battery (3.7 Volt/800 mA). There is also a mains adapter provided. The Li-Ion battery offers an operating time of two hours and requires four hours for full recharging.
