Doesn't do too well with rechargable batteries. I have a brand new set and I only seem to be able to take 5-10 shots before I have to recharge the batteries again. Oddly enough, it seems to do okay with the throw-away batteries.

@ Patricia
I don't know what kind of rechargeable batteries you are using, but ive got a pair of Energizer 2000mAh NiMH ones and i went away for a weekend, took more than 100 shots and the battery meter said there was still two thirds of battery left. I don't know if this helps, but in the menu, go down to "Settings", then down to "Battery Type" and you can choose between rechargeable and alkaline.

This camera takes great photos and the 2.5inch screen is great too but the program that comes on the CD seems a bit difficult to use due to the lack of button labels

A couple of days after i got it, the screen turned a purple colour and really grainy. When i take a photo it's fine, but just a bit annoying when taking pictures. Anyone know what has happened?

I get about 100 if not more pics from rechargeable batteries, use Uniross 2300.

Nice camera and easy to use..find the shutter speed a bit too slow though for a general shot.

Haven't been through the whole disc...is their a album set up like Kodak have or do you just save them to a file?

Hi everyone. I recently got this camera as a gift and it's quite nice, only thing that bugs me is that there's no light when recording. Anyway, I have a couple of questions, 'cause I can't find any answer in the user manual.
When I'm recording a video, the sound recording goes off while zooming in/out and when you stop zooming it turns on again. I don't know if that's how they're made or is it a problem with mine only?
And can you switch the imprint time from AM/PM to 24hrs?
Can anyone help me?
@Tii Same thing happened to me so I went to guarantee shop. They said that some internal chip broke down and gave me a new camera.

@ NB
When video recording, the microphone is supposed to turn off when zooming in and out because it would make a loud mechanical noise, even though some people wouldn't mind it.
I also looked throught the settings to change the time print and I'm pretty sure you can't change the imprint from AM/PM to 24hrs.

Nice looking camera. Easy to use, beautiful sharp photos. Only complaint didn't realise we needed to purchase a memory card. Product should be sold with memory card.
