DIWA member LetsGoDigital have reviewed the Sanyo Xacti E6, a 6 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens that is equivalent to 38-114mm.
“The design of the camera is rather sober. It features smooth round shapes and the housing consists of a matte aluminium material. Without a doubt the large sized monitor is perfectly apt for sharing your photos with family and friends. The camera lacks an optical viewfinder, but the 3-inch display makes you forget about this immediately. The monitor is dominating the entire back of the Xacti E6. We can only cheer at the new trend of equipping digital cameras with large sized screens.”

Having taken the Sanyo E6 on my holidays recently I have been impressed with the results. Pictures are sharp with good colour saturation and the 3 x optical internal konica minolta lens works a treat.
Great for holiday snaps, macro shots and movie mode the E6 is a slender, attractive and solidly built item.
When seeking a compact cam I looked at other popular makes and was surprisingly dissapointed with their results. The Sanyo came as a shock. Wonderful design, easy to use and compatible with SD cards. The 3 inch screen is just amazing and the proprietary battery does a good job. A superb holiday/family snaps digital camera with real style. Nice one, Sanyo.
